Marjoram essential oil is used aromatically and topically while Marjoram Vitality™ Essential oil is a dietary oil and therefore can be ingested.

While more commonly known as a spice used in cooking, Marjoram is a key oil used in the Raindrop Technique and can be used in massage after exercise.  The warm, woody and herbaceous scent of Marjoram can also be used aromatically for it’s calming properties.

How to use: For aromatic or topical use.  Diffuse, inhale, or add to bath water.  Apply to crown of head, back of neck, behind ears or inside wrists.  Possible skin sensitivity.

  1. Place a few drops of Marjoram on the back of the neck when facing difficult of stressful situations.  Due to it’s calming properties you may find yourself able to relax more.
  2. Marjoram is a warming oil and feels great on the skin when diluted and applied after a workout.
  3. Diffuse Marjoram at night to promote a restful night’s sleep.  Marjoram blends well with Bergamot, Lavender, Cypress, or Rosemary.
  4. Mix 3 drops Roman Chamomile, 3 Drops Lavender, 2 drops Marjoram and 2 drops Thyme with epsom salt and add to hot bath.  This calming mixture will have you relaxed in no time!
  5. Mix 5 drops Panaway, 5 drops Marjoram and 3 drops Peppermint and rub on the back of your neck for a soothing neck rub.
  6. Soothe hard working hands with this Hand Bath: 5 drops Lavender, 2 drops Marjoram, 3 cups of warm water.  Place your hands into a hand basin and soak for a few minutes.

Aroma Life™ combines the harmonizing effects of ylang ylang with known powerhouses cypress, helichrysum, and marjoram. Pulsing with life, this vibrant blend energizes your life force. It is best applied over heart energy – front and/or back.

How to use: For aromatic or topical use. Diffuse, inhale, or add to bath water.  Apply over the heart, on the feet, on the hand under the ring finger, and above the elbow. . Possible skin sensitivity.

  1. Bath: Add to Epsom salts in a bath for soothing experience
  2. Massage:  Dilute with V-6™ Enhanced Vegetable Oil Complex for a body massage
  3. Dryer: Place drops on a wool ball and toss in the dryer cycle
  4. Mood: place 1-2 drops in your hands, rub together and inhale

Aroma Siez™ is a relaxing blend that is excellent for massaging away life’s little discomforts. Well suited for use after exercise or at the end of a trying day, it also provides soothing comfort for the head, neck, and tired feet.

A key Young Living blend, Aroma Siez features the soothing and relaxing aroma of Lavender essential oil. It is also an important part of our proprietary Raindrop Technique®.

How to use: For  topical use.  Apply directly to skin or add to bath water.  Apply to crown of head, back of neck, behind ears or inside wrists.  Possible skin sensitivity.

      1. Exercise: After exercising, dilute Aroma Siez in V-6 Vegetable Oil Complex for use in massage.
      2. Soothe: Enjoy the soothing, relaxing scent of Aroma Siez by diluting and massaging it into the back of the neck.
      3. Foot Massage: Dilute Aroma Siez and massage it into feet after a long day.

Marjoram is a perennial herb with sweet pine and citrus flavors, recognized by many as a culinary spice.  Marjoram is steam distilled from the leaves and is believed to support normal digestion. Substitute 1 drop Marjoram essential oil per tablespoon of dried or fresh marjoram called for in recipes. If less is called for, dip a toothpick in the drop reducer of the essential oil bottle and swirl the saturated end through the recipe’s liquid ingredients.

  1. Cooking:  Infuse your favorite recipes with the enticing aroma and taste of Marjoram.  Essential oils are VERY potent.  Start by dipping a toothpick in your oil and dragging it through your food.
  2. Olive Oil: Infuse a bottle of extra virgin olive oil with herbs and a few drops of Marjoram essential oil to make a fantastic salad dressing, a drizzle over pasta dishes, a dip for artisan bread
  3. Marinade: Use as part of a marinade for your favorite meats and vegetables
  4. Pasta Sauce: Complement your favorite pasta sauce with a drop (or less!) of Marjoram
  5. Pasta Water: For a less powerful herb taste, instead of adding to the pasta sauce, simply add 1 drop Marjoram oil , Rosemary and or Basil to the water before cooking spaghetti pasta
  6. Tea: Adding a drop to hot tea may support normal digestion.*
