Clove essential oil

Clove

(Syzygium aromaticum)

topical aromatic

Clove essential oil is used aromatically and topically  while Clove Vitality essential oil is a dietary oil and therefore can be ingested.

Clove is an important ingredient in Young Living’s Thieves oil blend, and has a scent that is very warm and inviting.   Clove is the perfect scent for fall and winter – it reminds me of Thanksgiving, Mulled cider, crisp nights, and Christmas.  It comes from the flower buds of the evergreen tree and the buds resemble small nails or tacks.   Always dilute Clove when using topically.

How to use: For aromatic or topical use.  Diffuse, inhale, or add to bath water.  Apply to crown of head, back of neck, behind ears or inside wrists.  Possible skin sensitivity.

  1. Enjoy this festive fall scent in your own sugar scrub by combining 1/4 cup vegetable oil, 3/4 cup sugar and your favorite oils.  Combine Clove with complimentary oils such as Cinnamon, Orange, or Ginger.
  2. Add a single drop to your toothbrush when brushing your teeth to promote fresh, clean breath!
  3. Clove is a warming oil and is therefore a great oil to use for a warming massage.
  4. Diffuse Clove any time of year to enjoy it’s spicy scent.  Try diffusing it with Frankincense and orange.
  5. Add clove to a spritzer bottle with water and alcohol and use it to spritz up your potpourri.  Feeling adventurous?  Make your own potpourri using dried fruits, dried flower heads or petals, pine cones and wood chips.  Combine Clove with Cassia, Vetiver, Orange, Cinnamon, Ginger and spritz on potpourri as needed for a wonderfully fall scent.  This makes a GREAT Christmas gift!

  2. Mix your potpourri using any combination you choose, add a Tbsp of orris powder and 2-3 drops of each essential oil.  Mix.
  3. Store in airtight container for 2-3 weeks.  Add to a decorative bowl and enjoy.

10 uses for Abundance™ essential oil blend

Abundance™

topical aromatic

Abundance™ is created to enhance the frequency of the harmonic magnetic energy field that surrounds us. This higher frequency creates what is called “the law of attraction,” which refers to the things we attract to ourselves. Abundance opens us to a wealth of possibilities.

Abundance YL compliant

Abundance has a rich and spicy aroma.  They say when you use Abundance, good things happen.  I don’t believe that Abundance increases your luck, but rather opens you up to possibilities which therefore gives you that extra push to MAKE things happen.   Here’s a video of Gary Young talking about Abundance.  It’s a very poor quality video and I apologize for that but it IS interesting.

Use this oil whenever you seek abundance.  Abundance doesn’t just mean money – it can be love, success, happiness or health.

How to use: For aromatic or topical use.  Diffuse, inhale, or add to bath water.  Apply to crown of head, back of neck, behind ears or inside wrists.  Possible skin sensitivity.

  1. Resume:  Put a drop of Abundance on your resume before sending them to potential employers.
  2. Work:  Diffuse Abundance at work to increase business.
  3. Advancement: Use abundance as a perfume before your annual review with the boss to better your chances of negotiating a raise or more vacation time.
  4. Dating: Use on your wrists or over your heart when going on a date to attract abundance in love!
  5. Career change: diffuse when contemplating a career change to open yourself up to possibilities
  6. Meditation:  Abundance is a wonderful oil to use when meditating to open your mind and release your limitations.
  7. Pray: If you are religious and pray, diffusing this oil while praying opens yourself up the abundance of your God’s love.
  8. Sales: If you have a business or are an Independent Distributor for Young Living, diffuse or wear Abundance when doing a class to increase sales!
  9. Wallet: A drop on the wallet to attract money!  Hey – you’ve done crazier things to make a buck…
