Jade Lemon Essential Oil

Jade Lemon

(Citrus limon eureka var. formosensis)

topical aromatic

Jade Lemon essential oil is distilled from fruit grown in the warm, humid climate of southeast China and is cold pressed from the rind.  These fruits are bright green in color, contrary to the lemon we are all accustomed to, which is yellow.  Jade Lemon has high levels of D Limonene and Carvone. Both of these constituents have been heavily studied for their many benefits – google them to find out more!

While other lemons begin to release some of their oils aromatically as they turn yellow, the jade lemon fruit remains green even in maturity, allowing the concentration of oil to continue within the fruit. The oil is released only after the fruit is picked, giving it a richer and more fragrant aroma.
